American River harnesses are made from tightly woven mesh polyester to help keep your pup cool on walks. The fabric is super light and flexible for added comfort. Zig-zag stitching adds to this harness's durability. It’s machine washable.

Closures that won’t let go.
This harness closes with Velcro tabs and a heavy-duty plastic clip for added security. The large double D-rings connect to most standard leashes.   

Step-in style for easy on and off.
A step-in harness means you put the harness on by slipping your pup’s paws through leg openings on the harness. This is an excellent choice if your doggy is head-shy and fearful of something being pulled over his or her head. FYI, the leg openings on this harness are large enough for the fluffiest of paws.

Sizing notes:
Your pup's chest measurement should fall in between the chest measurement of the harness. Most returns are because the harness is too small, so if your dog is on the larger end of a size, it's best to go up to the next size.
