Moving Animals Out of Hurricane Matthew's Path.

We're so proud of the Charleston Animal Society for successfully moving 200 dogs and cats out of the path of Hurricane Matthew. The Animal Society staff and a whole bunch of volunteers put their own hurricane preparation plans aside to get the shelter animals safely on their way to higher ground, and to find forever homes. Another 100 animals we placed in foster homes away from coastal South Carolina. Big thank you to all involved.
